No bugs or compatability issues to find in a plethora of games new and old I tried, out, consistant and reliable. Haven't found anything this card can't mow down. Race07, 80+fps with 1920x1200 and max settings and 16x FSAA. Crysis gives very playable frames, some occasional slow downs but usually unnoticable. I really should try it with 16x FSAA but there is not much of a point, the extra anti-aliasing would be hard to notice at this res, it looks really really good.

Lost Coast benchmark with full settings at 1280x768 and 8x FSAA I got 144.7 fps, cranked it up to 1920x1200 with 4x FSAA got 122 fps. What else is there to say? I threw must of the book at this thing. Pros: Breathtaking graphics at great framerates.

That means H20 cooling should open these cards up! Will update when that conversion takes place. I've found there's a direct relationship between fan RPM and max stable OC. Bottom line is you need to crank the fan up at least a little to overclock at all. If the fan is set low (50% or <) 3DMark locks up. Switching to the ATI/AMD OCing Utility allows for separate clocks for each 3870. I was using RivaTune (RT Works after a few tweaks - google it) but this only OC'd 1 of the 2 GPUs. There's a modified toollib.dll that does not check for the 8pin connector and unlocks the overclocking options. There is a 3rd option of overwriting the DLL in the ATI/AMD OCing Tool. You can look on the web for some alligator clips/bypass methods that work just fine. Overall Review: To update/clarify OCing info: You need an 8 pin connector or a 6 to 8 pin converter. The cards are expensive, and they are big - much bigger than Nvidias 8800s and they are loud with the fan on 100% (Auto setting is absolutely silent) but if you can live with these very minor details you will be rewarded greatly. There are beta's out there but not all games are supported - specially Crysis is not which is probably the number 1 game that needs this kind of power.

So single card driver problems are a mute point. Playing Crysis clearly showed massive improvement over my 8800GTS (640MB G80). So far this single card setup has had ZERO problems running anything. I could say drivers but I was aware that they are still being developed when I bought the card so I was aware of what I was getting myself into.
